Wednesday, 10th November 2021


16.02 miles. Boldon - Jarrow - Washington Village - Boldon. Mild (12C), calm and dry. Two vintage 1947 Pensioners. Coffee stop at Washington Village, and, a mystery tour to find the optimum route through the factories beside Nissan.




Saturday, 13th November 2021


16.32 miles. Boldon - Jarrow - Washington Village - Sunderland - Boldon. Mild 12C, calm and dry. Two vintage 1947 Pensioners. Coffee stop at Washington Village. Yes another variation on our return route, taking in NCN 7 along the River Wear, but, although it seemed much further, we only clocked up and extra 0.30 miles. Disappointing, plus NCN 7 not very smooth, so, some dissent in the ranks.
