Monday, 13th December 2021 16.05 Miles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Washington Village - Boldon Colliery. Dull, and cool (7C), but, no wind. Too cool to sit having coffee outside at Washington Village, unfortunately. Tuesday, 14th December 2021 8.08. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow. Dull, but mild 9C. Delivering Christmas cards, on Kathleen on her Liv Alight, me on folding bike, because Giant Escape has a puncture! Thursday, 16th December 2021 21.06 miles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Washington Village - Boldon Colliery.  Bright and sunny, chilly at first (5C), but, becoming a barmy 11C. Delivering more Christmas cards, plus a coffee stop in Washington Village. Thankfully, avoided the puncture fairy today.   

Tuesday, 23rd November 2021. 10.92 Miles.   Boldon Colliery - Whitburn - Boldon Colliery. Cloudy with sun, very cold 3c, but calm. Comfortably over our 150 miles for this month.

  Monday 15th November 2021 13.35 Miles. Boldon - Whitburn - South Shields - Boldon. Cloudy, 10C, calm. Thursday, 18th November 2021 16.26 miles. Boldon - Jarrow - Washington Village - Boldon. Dull, very mild 15C, but, also, very breezy, with 20mph wind from the West. Friday, 19th November 2021. 16.00 miles. Boldon - Jarrow - Washington Village - Boldon. Bright and sunny. Very mild 14C, but, also, very breezy with 18mph wind from the East.

  Monday 8th November 2021 16.12 Miles. Boldon - Sunderland - Seaburn - Whitburn - Boldon.  Sunny, calm and dry. Cool at first, 5C, but, warming to 12C. Two vintage 1947 Pensioners, today. Tuesday, 9th November 2021 8.48 miles. Boldon - Cleadon - Boldon. Mild (12C) and calm, but, dull and cloudy. Two vintage 1947 Pensioners on an Ecosmo Tandem. Wednesday, 10th November 2021 16.02 miles. Boldon - Jarrow - Washington Village - Boldon.  Mild (12C), calm and dry. Two vintage 1947 Pensioners. Coffee stop at Washington Village, and, a mystery tour to find the optimum route through the factories beside Nissan. Saturday, 13th November 2021 16.32 miles. Boldon - Jarrow - Washington Village - Sunderland - Boldon. Mild 12C, calm and dry. Two vintage 1947 Pensioners. Coffee stop at Washington Village. Yes another variation on our return route, taking in NCN 7 along the River Wear, but, although it seemed much further, we only clocked up and extra 0.30 miles. Disappointing, plus NCN 7 not very sm

Dry, sunny and calm, but, cold at 4C. Solo. 19.94 Miles. B oldon - Whitburn - South Shields - Jarrow - Boldon. Dry, sunny and calm, a mild 12C, and, two vintage 1947 pensioners. Friday, 5th November 2021 16.89 Miles. Boldon - Jarrow - Washington Village - Boldon.  Dry, sunny, 12C. Stiff breeze from the North. Two vintage 1947 Pensioners.

Monday, 25th October 2021 19.98 Miles. Boldon - Whitburn - South Shields - Jarrow - Boldon.     Bright, sunny, dry  and calm, mild 13C. Tuesday, 26th October 2021 7.42 miles. Boldon - Sunderland (Nissan) - Boldon. Windy, wet, not very pleasant, only saving grace, it was mild (12C). Only one of us mad enough to go out!  Thursday, 28th October 2021 10.96 Miles. Boldon - Whitburn - Boldon. No video, because I forgot to charge camera battery. Dull, windy, but mild 13C. Friday, 29th October 2021 12.59 Miles. Boldon - Jarrow - Washington - Boldon.  Dull, mild 14C, strong wind blowing from South. Not the kind of day we would normally have gone out, but, I wanted to "get the miles in" for my 150 miles in a month "challenge". This did it (154 miles).

Monday, 18th October 2021 6.38 Miles. Boldon - South Shields. Pre-breakfast solo spin. Mild, but, dull and grey. Wednesday, 20th October 2021 12.83 miles. Boldon - Jarrow - Washington - Boldon.  Dull, cool 10C, but, dry and calm.  Saturday, 23rd October 2021 15.05 Miles. Boldon - Jarrow - Washington Village - Boldon.  Cool 10C, cloudy but calm.

Tuesday, 12th October 2021 7.41 Miles. Boldon - Washington(Nissan) Circuit.  Dull, mild 14C, drizzle started just as I finished. Solo today. Thursday, 14th October 2021 16.13 miles. Boldon - Jarrow - Washington - Wardley - Fellgate - Boldon.  Cloudy but dry. Gusty wind, 14C. A variation on our Washington Circuit, to call at friends (Peter and Joan). Friday, 15th October 2021 19.98 Miles. Boldon Colliery - Whitburn - South Shields - Jarrow - Boldon Colliery.   Bright sunny day, but, with a cold wind from the North, so, a chilly 8C when we set out, warming to 12C, as the morning wore on. pleasant coffee stop at South Shields, Little Haven Minchellas.

  Wednesday, 6th October 2021 9.01 Miles. Devizes CCC Site - Melksham ASDA - Devizes CCC Site.  Sunny and 16C. Braved the A365, because Kathleen was afraid she would fall in the canal, if we followed cycle route 4. Thursday, 7th October 2021 16.57 Miles. Devizes CCC Site - Bradford-on-Avon, via NCN4 , (Kennet and Avon Canal Towpath). Mild, 18C, and sunny with cloud, barely any breeze. A solo ride, today.

  Wednesday, 29th September 2021 6.9 miles. Windsor and Eton . Bright and sunny, but cool 14C, and a stiff breeze. Cycle ride along the Thames, with son, Gary. 

Tuesday, 21st September 2021 23.57 Miles. Chedgrave - Lodden - Geldeston - Gillingham - Beccles and return. Sunny and warm (21C). Via NCN 1, with Coffee and cake in Beccles. Wednesday, 22nd September 2021 12.72 Miles total. 6.55 miles there Chedgrave - Reedham, via Reedham Ferry. Partly on Sustrans Route 31. Lunch at The Lord Nelson, very pleasant and 6.17 miles back Reedham - Chedgrave. Beautiful sunny day, 21C. Friday, 24th September 2021 19.48 Miles. Chedgrave - Bungay - Chedgrave. Sunny, 21C, but, stiff breeze from the South West. Mostly via NCN 1, and Route 30, except when we got slightly lost. Coffee and cake in Bungay.

Coffee stop at Sandhaven Caravan Park, for a coffee with Brian and Linda. Thursday, 16th September 2021 15.26 Miles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Washington Village - Sunderland - Boldon Colliery. Sunny with cloud, 17C. Coffee stop in Washington Village. Friday, 17th September 2021 15.19 Miles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Washington Village - Sunderland - Boldon Colliery.  Sunny with cloud, 17C. Coffee stop in Washington Village, and, a slight variation (off road) on the route.  

Monday, 6th September 2021   12.76 Miles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Washington - Boldon Colliery.  Surprisingly warm (21C), and calm. Tuesday, 7th September 2021 20.17 miles. Boldon Colliery - Whitburn - South Shields - Jarrow - Boldon Colliery.   Beautiful sunny day, 21C and calm, no wind. Friday, 10th September 2021 14.96 MIles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Washington Village - Boldon Colliery.  Bright and sunny, 21C, but, with a thunderstorm forecast. A pleasant Coffee stop, in Washington Village, and, we manage to avoid the rain.
