Monday, 6th June 2022 7.58 Miles.   Around The Boldons. A solo outing on my new Specialised Turbo Vado 4 SL. It has been poor cycling time for the past two weeks, combination of weather, family and health. Wednesday, 8th June 2022 10.62 Miles. Boldon Colliery - Heworth - Boldon Colliery.   Only one vintage 1947 Pensioner, again, today. The other one is still laid up with back pain. A rather disappointing outing. I set off with the intention of riding to Penshaw, to nab the letter "P for the Cyclechat Challenge. But, I decided, en-route, to head for Pelaw, instead. Disappointment. I knew Pelaw did not have much going for it, but, it does not even have a name board. One small win, it poured with rain, and, there was a handy bus-shelter to stay dry in, I doubt I would have been as fortunate en-route to Penshaw.
