Tuesday, 17th October 15.51 miles. Boldon Colliery - Sunderland - Seaburn - Whitburn - Boldon Colliery. Two vintage 1947 pensioners. Cold, cloudy, 8c, with a bit of rain along the coast.   Monday, 2nd October 2023 15.76 Miles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Washington - Boldon Colliery. Two vintage 1947 pensioners. Cloudy, cool (15c) and calm, typical autumn day. Coffee stop at Washington Village Green.

  Sunday, 10th September 2023 2.11 miles.  Twice. An easy day today, to the village community run shop, for mile and ice cream, and, then, to the village community pub (The White Hart) and back. It is so hot, they have cancelled the usually Sunday Carvery, and, have a BBQ, plus Pizzas available. So, two vintage 1947 Pensioners cycle there, consume their pizza, and drink a pint or two, then, return back to the van. Monday, 11th September 2023 9.51 miles. The Ellinghams. Rocklands - Little Ellingham - Great Ellingham - Rocklands. Cooler and breezier than yesterday, 23c, and sunny with cloud. Two vintage 1947 pensioners.  No video, because, this was supposed to be a 4 mile ride, but, one of the vintage 1947 Pensioners decided we venture along road we have never used before, no maps with us, hence, just over 9 miles, not 4 miles!

Pub (White Hart) closed, so, coffee, sandwich and cake in the community shop. Thursday, 7th September 2023. 20.12 miles.   Rocklands St Peter - Shropham - Larling - Snetterton - Great Ellingham - Rocklands St Peter. Two vintage 1947 pensioners. Sunny, and very hot, 30c. Lunch at The Crown, Great Ellingham. Saturday, 9th September 2023 11.82 miles. Rocklands St Peter - Caston - Griston - Watton - Carbrooke - Rocklands St Peter. Two vintage 1947 pensioners. Calm, very hot, 30c.

Boldon Colliery - Whitburn - South Shields - Jarrow - Boldon Colliery.  Two vintage 1947 pensioners. Sunny and warm 22c. Slight route variation to avoid the crowds on South Shields Sea Front. No coffee stop today. Thursday, 24th August 2023 2.03 Miles. To ASDA for beans. Solo vintage 1947 Pensioner, on Folding bicycle. No video.

  Monday, 7th August 2023 By way of explanation for the lack of Cycling. Two reasons:  weather has been dreadful, nothing but rain.  I have some problem with my foot/ankle. So, until the NHS creaks into action and I can get an appointment with a doctor, who appears even vaguely interested, my exercise options are limited. 2.06 Miles. To the chemist, in Boldon Colliery,  to collect Kathleen's medication. Windy, but, sunny and a comfortable 18C. 2.39 Miles. Around the Cotswolds Estate, Boldon Colliery, just to get some exercise.  Windy, but, sunny and a comfortable 18C. Both rides only one vintage 1947 pensioner, the other one is walking, because she is training for some charity walk. No video for such short rides. Tuesday, 8th August 2023 16.29 miles. Deeping St James - Glinton - and beyond . Two vintage 1947 Pensioners. Windy, with a few spots of rain. Rounded off with coffee and sandwiches at Lilly's in Deeping Market. Wednesday, 5th July 2023 8.69 miles. To Blue Bell, Glinton for lunch. Two vintage 1947 pensioners. Sunny with cloud, 20c, windy.    

  Monday 19th June 2023 16.02 miles. Boldon Colliery - Sunderland - Whitburn - Boldon Colliery. Sunny and hot at 22C, with a stiff breeze from the South. Two vintage 1947 Pensioners. Front camera malfunction, so, only the view to the rear. "improvements" underway just before Wearmouth Bridge, mean a rather unpleasant detour up a steep cobblestone lane.

 Sunday, 11th June 2023 5.26 miles. The Boldons. No video. Two vintage 1947 pensioners, one walking and one (me) in folding bicycle, because my Plantar Faciitis means I cannot keep up. Warm, 16C, although, cloudy. No Video. Monday, 12th June 2023 15.82 Miles. Washington Village Circuit. Beautiful sunny day, 21c. Two vintage 1947 pensioners. 1.88 miles. To Chemist. Another folding bicycle ride to keep up with Kathleen. Tuesday, 13th June 2023 13.49 miles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Wrekenton - Boldon Colliery.   Sunday 28th May 2023 5.05 miles. Around the Boldons. One vintage 1947 pensioner walking, because she is in training for walking to Durham, the other vintage 1947 pensioner is injured (foot), so, setting the pace, and, carrying water etc, on a folding bike. Dry, cloudy, 14c. No video. Friday 2nd June 2023 21.54 Miles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Washington - South Shields - Boldon Colliery. Only one vintage 1947 pensioner today, the other one is walking to Durham with daughters 2 and 3. Video incomplete, because I forgot to format SD card, and, card filled up! A quest to collect "R" and "S" of the Saint's Names (Cyclechat Challenge), today, bagged St Robert, and St Simon. Disappointed that for St Roberts, I could only find a School, it qualifies, but, so far, I have managed all churches. St Simons was a trawl back through time, haven't been there since I was 11!

  Friday, 26th May 2023. 12.35 Miles. A ride to collect ABC of Saints Names, Boldon Colliery (St Nicholas); Whiteleas, South Shields (St Oswald's); Jarrow (St Pauls). Only one vintage 1947 Pensioner today. Weather, sunny and warm (17C). Now upto "Q".

Tuesday 16th May 2023 18.83 Miles. First, shopping, a ride to Tesco, not very far, but, heavily loaded! Then, a circuit of the local area, The Deepings, via Market Deeping, for lunch at Lilly's Coffee Shop. Sunny and 15c. Two vintage 1947 pensioners. Thursday 18th May 2023 18.72 miles. Deeping St James - Bainton - Tallinton - Langtoft - Market Deeping - Deeping St James. Warn and sunny, 17C. Two vintage 1947 Pensioners. Collectiing Saints names for ABC of Saints Names, Cyclechat challenge.  Collected "L" and "M" today (St Marys, Bainton, St Lawrence Tallington).  Lunch at Market Deeping, The Stage.
