Saturday 26th October 2024. 7.13 Miles.  Boldon - West Meadows - Nissan.    Only one vintage 1947 pensioner, riding Specialised Vado 4 SL e-bike. Pleasant bright autumn day, 14c and dry, very calm. AKASO EK7000 camera.

Monday 2nd September 2024 6.96 Miles. Boldon - Nissan Washington.   A dismal, foggy morning, turning to rain, halfway around my route. Not the most sensible decision to go out this morning. What was supposed to be a quick spin out, became a problem, spots of rain, within the first five minutes, then, Garmin Mount came loose. So, a return to base, quick tighten of Garmin Mount, by which time, rain. stopped, so, ride continues. Camera did not record ride. Not my day for technology!, fortunately, my legs worked. Map plotted manually. the 6.8 is as recorded by my Apple Watch (you can always rely on Apple). Pleasant calm and mild morning, and, I think the technology worked this morning! Wednesday, 31st July 2024 6.75 miles. Boldon - West Meadows.  One vintage 1947 pensioner, riding Specialised Vado 4 SL e-bike. Pleasant calm and mild morning. Overslept slightly, so, not a very long ride, this morning.

Monday, 22nd July 2024 6.12 miles. The Boldons. One vintage 1947 Pensioner., riding Specialised Vado SL for a change. Dull and overcast on leaving, which soon turned to rain. Ride shortened to minimise the soaking! Tuesday, 23rd July 2024 7.64 miles. The Boldons and Downhill Lane . One vintage 1947 pensioner, riding Specialised Vado 4 SL. Dull and damp. This is supposed to be summer! Wednesday, 24th July 2024 10.91 miles. Boldon - Follingsby.  Vintage 1947 pensioner riding Specialised Vado 4 SL. Sunny and pleasant morning, like it should be in July! Saturday, 27th July 2024 11.08 miles. Boldon - Whitburn.  Vintage 1947 pensioner, riding Specialised Vado 4 SL. Weather has returned to rubbish, dull, and, then, rain on the way home. Mild is the only positive!

  Sunday, 12th May 2024 6.47 miles. Any "easy" ride in a loop through Boldon Colliery - Washington (Nissan). Very pleasant morning, calm, and sunny 17c. Two vintage 1947 pensioners. Front view camera didn't record (user error), so, only the view from the rear available.

Saturday, 4th March 2024 12.69 miles. Waterpump CL - Badingham - Bruisyard -Framlington - Waterpump CL.   Our first bicycle ride for some months. A quiet start, around Badingham Village, then on to Framlington, much of it on a section of NCN1. A pleasant lunch in Framlington, at what appears to be Avery popular bakers shop come cafe. A little "essential" shopping (milk, and, an easy ready meal for this evening), before we take the "short" route back to the WaterpumpCL, mostly via the B1120. A final stop for refreshments at The White Horse, Badingham. I notice, for some reason, almost every pub is called The White Horse!

Tuesday, 17th October 15.51 miles. Boldon Colliery - Sunderland - Seaburn - Whitburn - Boldon Colliery. Two vintage 1947 pensioners. Cold, cloudy, 8c, with a bit of rain along the coast.   Sunday, 10th September 2023 2.11 miles.  Twice. An easy day today, to the village community run shop, for mile and ice cream, and, then, to the village community pub (The White Hart) and back. It is so hot, they have cancelled the usually Sunday Carvery, and, have a BBQ, plus Pizzas available. So, two vintage 1947 Pensioners cycle there, consume their pizza, and drink a pint or two, then, return back to the van. Monday, 11th September 2023 9.51 miles. The Ellinghams. Rocklands - Little Ellingham - Great Ellingham - Rocklands. Cooler and breezier than yesterday, 23c, and sunny with cloud. Two vintage 1947 pensioners.  No video, because, this was supposed to be a 4 mile ride, but, one of the vintage 1947 Pensioners decided we venture along road we have never used before, no maps with us, hence, just over 9 miles, not 4 miles!

Pub (White Hart) closed, so, coffee, sandwich and cake in the community shop. Thursday, 7th September 2023. 20.12 miles.   Rocklands St Peter - Shropham - Larling - Snetterton - Great Ellingham - Rocklands St Peter. Two vintage 1947 pensioners. Sunny, and very hot, 30c. Lunch at The Crown, Great Ellingham. Saturday, 9th September 2023 11.82 miles. Rocklands St Peter - Caston - Griston - Watton - Carbrooke - Rocklands St Peter. Two vintage 1947 pensioners. Calm, very hot, 30c.
