15.66 miles. Cycling. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Washington Village - Boldon Colliery. Started damp and grey, but, by coffee stop at Washington Village, blue sky and sunshine. Cold 7c, and, the ground is very wet, after several days of heavy rain. We did a slight variation on our normal route, since, rumour has it that parts of Bowes Railway path flooded and/or damaged by rain, so, we avoided that section. Two vintage 1947 Pensioners.
