Thursday, 8th October 2020 12.89 miles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Washington - Boldon Colliery. Sunny and calm, 14C. No Video. Riding Ecosmo Tandem. Visit from puncture fairy on BOTH full size bikes (Giant and Liv!).  

  Monday, 28th September 2020 12.10 Miles. Boldon Colliery - Whitburn - East Boldon - Boldon Colliery . Calm and bright, but, cool at 14C. Added bonus of collecting "E", (E)last Boldon for the ABC Villages/Towns Challenge.     Tuesday, 29th September 2020 19.73 Miles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Washington - Fatfield - Washington - Boldon Colliery.  Pleasant day, 16C, calm and sunny. Bonus, pleasant coffee and toastie at Washington Village Cafe, disappointment, cycled to Fatfield to collect an "F", no name board found!

Terrington St John - Downham Market - Terrington St John . Sunny, hot at 22C, slight wind.

  Sunday, 13th September 2020 12.99 miles. Flempton - Bury St Edmonds - Flempton. Warm and sunny 21C. A shopping trip to Tesco, Bury St Edmonds. Tuesday, 15th September 2020 12.32 miles. Flempton - Risby - Cavenham - Iklingham - Flempton . Sunny, calm, very hot at 27C. 

  Sunday, 6th September 2020 15.22 Miles. From West Beckham, via Sustrans Route 30 and 33 to Cromer, West Runton, West Beckham . Cloudy with a little sun. Amazingly hilly, for flat(?) Norfolk!. Monday, 7th September 2020 16.02 Miles. West Beckham - Holt - Weybourne - West Beckham .  Not our most successful ride.  A false start, puncture pithing half a mile! Inner tube changed, set off again. Then, on return journey, somehow missed a turn off and ended up at Weyborne, followed by a very hilly route via Upper Sheringham. Dull, and rather windy, 16C, at least it did not rain!  Wednesday, 9th September 2020 31. 21 Miles. Boldon Colliery - Whitburn - South Shields - Jarrow - Boldon Colliery.  Started damp and dull, but, needed cloudy with sun. Warm 19C.

Tuesday 25th August 2020 5.07 miles. South Shields - Boldon Colliery. A very wet and windy ride home from Harton Garage, after dropping car off for a service, on Folding Bicycle. 16C.  5.07 Miles. Boldon Colliery - South Shields. Excuse the map, forgot to turn Garmin off, so, some of the mileage shown is with bike in boot of car! A very wet and windy trip, to collect car from Harton Garage, after servicing. 16C. Good news is, no problems with car.

Boldon Colliery - South Shields (Harton). Cycling from home, to Garage to collect car after MOT.  Humid and hot 24C. Friday, 14th August 2020 7.18 Miles. ie 3.59 each way. Boldon Colliery to Whitemare Pool (The Green). Chilly and damp, 14C. 

Thursday, 6th August 2020 8.2 Miles. Boldon Colliery and Cleadon . Solo, morning spin. Dry, sunny and mild 16C. Friday, 7th August 2020. 2.39 miles. To Chemist, to collect prescription. Folding Bicycle.

Sunday, 26th July 2020 17.8 Miles. New Forest Centenary CAMC Site - Christchurch - Mudeford Quays - Avon Beach - New Forest Centenary CAMC Site . Dry, sunny with cloud, 20C. Garmin website still out of action due to hackers(?) so, not downloaded yet. Wednesday, 29th July 2020 9.44 miles. New Forest Centenary CAMC Site . Disaster, Komoot route guidance total fail, followed by Kathleen falling off bicycle, ride abandoned. Not a good day! Dry, sunny, 20C. Friday, 31st July 2020 5.25 Miles. To Bransgore, shopping . Forecast to be the hottest day this year, but, early morning, it is a pleasant 20C. Only a trip to the shops, but, the miles still count!

Monday, 20th July 2020 . 23.73 Miles. Cheddar - Yatton , on the Strawberry Line Route, Sustrans National Cycle Route 26. Warm (21C) and sunny. Wednesday, 22nd July 2020 16.26 miles. Cheddar - Wedmore - Chapel Alerton - Axbridge - Cheddar . Warm (21C) and sunny.

Monday, 13th July 2020 17.62 miles. Berwick-upon-Tweed circuit. Sunny with cloud, stiff westerly breeze. Part of a 31 mile route, shortened due to a (fortunate) navigational error, and imminent downpour of rain! Wednesday, 15th July 2020 20.55 miles. Berwick-upon-Tweed - Lindisfarne Causeway - Berwick-upon-Tweed . Riding a section of Sustrans National Cycle Route 1. Some excellent sections, plus, some sections more suited to a Quad-bike!. Mild (17C), stiff breeze from the west, with occasional heavy showers. Also, a visit from the puncture fairy, for Kathleen. Fortunately, we were carrying a spare tube.

Thursday, 9th July 2020 6.37 miles. Boldon Colliery - South Shields - Jarrow - Boldon Colliery. No Video. Ecosmo Tandem. A pleasant sunny evening. Saturday, 11th July 2020 13.33 miles. Boldon Colliery - Washington - Jarrow - Boldon Colliery. No Video. Ecosmo Tandem. Sunny and warm (17C), but, breezy.

Boldon Colliery - Whitburn - South Shields - Jarrow - Boldon Colliery. Sunny, warm 18C. More or less a complete copy of yesterday's ride, except, on the Ecosmo Tandem. Plan was to go to Rising Sun Country park, on "normal" bicycles. But, a visit from the "puncture fairy" in one of my Giant Easyride tyres (which are anything but east to fix!, meant a change of plan.  No video, because last minute change of bike, left camera on the Giant.   Wednesday, 24th June 2020 2.90 miles. To Fellgate and return, on folding bicycle, because Giant has puncture, for a socially distanced catch up with "the boys". Friday, 26th June 2020 21.18 miles. Boldon Colliery - Washington - Sunderland - South Hylton- Cox Green - Washington - Jarrow - Boldon Colliery. Sunny, hot 21C.

Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Gateshead - Newcastle - Wallsend - Howden - Jarrow - Boldon Colliery.  Taking in Keelmans Way cycle route, to Newcastle, Millennium Bridge, a coffee stop at the Cycle Hub, Ouseburn, then, home via the Pedestrian Tunnel. Cloudy, gentle wind, dry and 15C, Saturday, 20th June 2020. 20.41miles. Boldon Colliery - Washington - Birtley - Washington - Jarrow - Boldon Colliery . Taking in part of C2C route. Sunny, slight wind, warm 17C.
