Wednesday 27th March 2019 12.5 Miles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow -  Washington - Sunderland - Boldon Colliery . Mild, sunny with some cloud.  Friday 29th March 2019 20.2 Miles. Boldon Colliery - Whitburn - South Shields - Jarrow - Boldon Colliery. Beautifully sunny day.

18th March 2019.  8 Miles. Peterborough, around  Ferry Meadows and Nene Valley Park . A very pleasant spring day. 19th March 2019.  11 Miles. Peterborough. This time, with the aid of a map! A circuit, taking in some of "The Green Wheel", Route 63 and Route 12. A Very Pleasant Spring Day. 20th March 2019 . 15.4 miles. Peterborough. Exploring more of the "Green Wheel" . Mostly, excellent quality tarmac cycle track, but, enough "rough stuff", particularly around  Farcet, to raise a few complains from Kathleen. Lunch stop at the Boathouse , very nice.

26th February 2019.  12.7 miles.  Boldon Colliery - East Boldon - Seaburn - Whitburn - Cleadon - Boldon Colliery.  Beautiful spring day, 17C. Coffee and cake stop, in the sunshine at Whitburn Cafe. 27th February 2019. 20.10 miles. Boldon Colliery - Whitburn - South Shields - Jarrow - Boldon Colliery . Another beautiful spring day, 17C. Solo ride, Kathleen lunching with her "school" friends.

Thursday, 21st February 2019 -  23 miles.  Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Pelaw - Washington - Sunderland - Seaburn - Whitburn - Boldon Colliery . Unusually mild day, for February, sunny, and 15C, is spring about to arrive? Kathleen chickened out, so, riding solo.

Sunday 10th February 2019  10.2 miles. Boldon Colliery - Cleadon - Whitburn  - Boldon Colliery . Dry, bright and rather cold at 3C. Thursday 14th February 2019  10.6 miles.  Boldon Colliery - Cleadon - Whitburn  - Boldon Colliery . A very pleasant day, for February, bright, sunny and a mild 11C. Friday 15th February  2019 2.8 miles. Around Boldon Colliery . Trying to get one of the Grandson's, aged 9, interested in cycling. Sunny and mild day, 11C. Not sure cycling competed successfully with an x-Box.

Friday 25th January 2019  12.4 miles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Pelaw - Washington - Boldon Colliery. Dry, bright and not too cold at 9C.

Monday 31st December 2018  12.5 miles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Pelaw - Washington - Boldon Colliery. Dry, bright and mild, but rather windy.
