  Sunday, 25th September 2022 16.40 miles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Washington Village - Boldon Colliery. Calm, cloudy and cool (8c). I put wrong gloves on, numb fingers! Two vintage 1947 pensioners. AKASO EK7000 camera. Coffee at Washington Village, The Green, very busy!

  Monday 19th September 2022 16.22 Miles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Washington Village - Boldon Colliery. Bright and sunny, but a cool 12C. Very quiet out, little traffic, not even the Washington Green coffee shop open (Bank Holiday for Queen's Funeral). Two vintage 1947 Pensioners. AKASO EK7000 Camera. Wednesday, 21st September 2022 15.83 Miles. Boldon Colliery - Sunderland - Seaburn - Whitburn - Boldon Colliery. Bright and sunny, a warm 20c, breeze from the south. Two vintage 1947 pensioners. AKASO EK7000 Camera, but, no video, because I forgot to clear the memory card.

  Tuesday, 13th September 2022. 19.90 miles. Boldon Colliery - Whitburn - South Shields - Jarrow - Boldon Colliery.  Beautiful day, clear blue skies, calm, warm 19c. A bonus, for some reason (possibly we were out early), not many people around and not much traffic. Two vintage 1947 Pensioners. AKASO EK7000 Camera. Thursday, 15th September 2022 15.84 miles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Washington Village - Boldon Colliery.   Bright sunny day, with some cloud. Stiff, cold breeze from the North, but still 17c. A light lunch at the coffee shop in Washington Village. Two vintage 1947 pensioners. AKASO EK7000 Camera.

  Monday, 5th September 2022 7.04 miles. Boldon Colliery - South Shields. Only one vintage 1947 pensioner, for this 07:00am ride. AKASO EK7000 Camera. Roads wet from previous rain, but, mild and not actually raining. Tuesday, 6th September 2022 15.93. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Washington Village - Boldon Colliery. Two vintage 1947 pensioners. AKASO EK7000 Camera. Warm (20c), sunny, when we left home. Coffee and sandwich at Washington Village. Clouded over and became very dark, just as we finished our coffee. Heavy rain, thunder and lightening for the eight miles home, we got rather wet.

Sunday, 28th August 2022 7.68  Miles. Boldon Colliery - East Boldon - West Boldon.     An early morning ride, so, only one vintage 1947 pensioner. Cool, dry and still, at 12c, borderline for an extra layer. My monthly target of 150 miles/month is looking doubtful, only 122.9miles done, leaving 27.1 to do, only 3 days to do it in. Wednesday, 31st August 2022 10.77 Miles. Haydon Bridge - Fourstones - Haydon Bridge. Two vintage 1947 Pensioners. AKASO EK7000 Camera. Cloudy and cool with slight breeze from the East. This was undulating with a capital "U"! Lots of fun downhill stretches, but, for every downhill stretch, there is an UP! Included a short section of NCN72 (on quiet road). Friday, 2nd September 2022 14.40 Miles. Haydon Bridge - Bardon Mill - Henshaw. Two vintage 1947 Pensioners. AKASO EK7000 Camera.    Sunny and warm, 20c, a breeze, from the East.We first follow a signed trail, but, that becomes an unrideable. So, plan B, follow the 'old road' through Haydon B

Out early, in fact, too early, coffee shop in Washington Village closed, so, no coffee and cake. Two vintage 1947 Pensioners. AKASO EK7000 Camera.  Tuesday, 23rd August 2022 15.81 Miles. Boldon Colliery - Sunderland - Seaburn - Whitburn - Boldon Colliery.   Two vintage 1947 Pensioners. AKASO EK7000 Camera. Cloudy with sun, calm, and warm at 20c. No Coffee stop today, too many barking dogs at Whitburn Coffee shop, so, gave it a miss. Friday, 26th August 2022 16.54 Miles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Washington Village - Boldon Colliery. Two vintage 1947 Pensioners. AKASO EK7000 Camera. Sunny and warm (21c). Coffee and lunch stop at Washington Village.
