Deeping St James - Glinton - and beyond . Two vintage 1947 Pensioners. Windy, with a few spots of rain. Rounded off with coffee and sandwiches at Lilly's in Deeping Market. Wednesday, 5th July 2023 8.69 miles. To Blue Bell, Glinton for lunch. Two vintage 1947 pensioners. Sunny with cloud, 20c, windy.

  Monday 19th June 2023 16.02 miles. Boldon Colliery - Sunderland - Whitburn - Boldon Colliery. Sunny and hot at 22C, with a stiff breeze from the South. Two vintage 1947 Pensioners. Front camera malfunction, so, only the view to the rear. "improvements" underway just before Wearmouth Bridge, mean a rather unpleasant detour up a steep cobblestone lane.

 Sunday, 11th June 2023 5.26 miles. The Boldons. No video. Two vintage 1947 pensioners, one walking and one (me) in folding bicycle, because my Plantar Faciitis means I cannot keep up. Warm, 16C, although, cloudy. No Video. Monday, 12th June 2023 15.82 Miles. Washington Village Circuit. Beautiful sunny day, 21c. Two vintage 1947 pensioners. 1.88 miles. To Chemist. Another folding bicycle ride to keep up with Kathleen. Tuesday, 13th June 2023 13.49 miles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Wrekenton - Boldon Colliery. Only one vintage 1947 pensioner, because it was 06:30! Beautiful sunny morning. Cyclechat ABC of Saint's Names Challenge, "T" this morning, St Thomas', Wrekenton. Wednesday, 14th June 2023 19.91 Miles. Boldon Colliery - Whitburn - South Shields - Jarrow - Boldon Colliery. Beautiful sunny morning 22c. Two vintage 1947 pensioners. Coffee and bacon sandwich stop at Minchela's Little Haven Cafe. Thursday, 15th June 2023 2.14 miles. To the Chemist, to collect

  Sunday 28th May 2023 5.05 miles. Around the Boldons. One vintage 1947 pensioner walking, because she is in training for walking to Durham, the other vintage 1947 pensioner is injured (foot), so, setting the pace, and, carrying water etc, on a folding bike. Dry, cloudy, 14c. No video. Friday 2nd June 2023 21.54 Miles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Washington - South Shields - Boldon Colliery. Only one vintage 1947 pensioner today, the other one is walking to Durham with daughters 2 and 3. Video incomplete, because I forgot to format SD card, and, card filled up! A quest to collect "R" and "S" of the Saint's Names (Cyclechat Challenge), today, bagged St Robert, and St Simon. Disappointed that for St Roberts, I could only find a School, it qualifies, but, so far, I have managed all churches. St Simons was a trawl back through time, haven't been there since I was 11!

Tuesday 16th May 2023 18.83 Miles. First, shopping, a ride to Tesco, not very far, but, heavily loaded! Then, a circuit of the local area, The Deepings, via Market Deeping, for lunch at Lilly's Coffee Shop. Sunny and 15c. Two vintage 1947 pensioners. Thursday 18th May 2023 18.72 miles. Deeping St James - Bainton - Tallinton - Langtoft - Market Deeping - Deeping St James. Warn and sunny, 17C. Two vintage 1947 Pensioners. Collectiing Saints names for ABC of Saints Names, Cyclechat challenge.  Collected "L" and "M" today (St Marys, Bainton, St Lawrence Tallington).  Lunch at Market Deeping, The Stage.

  Monday, 8th May 2023 20.82 miles. Deeping. St James - Etton - Marholm - Castor. Cloudy, with some showers, 14c. Two Vintage 1947 pensioners. A ride with a purpose today, ie, to obtain a photograph of St Kyneburgha, Castor, for Cyclechat ABC Saint's names challenge. Wednesday, 10th May 2023 24.75 miles. Deeping St James - Northborough - Glinton - Peakirk - Newborough - Crowland - Deeping St James. Sunny, 17c. Two vintage 1947 pensioners. Taking in sections of NCN21, NCN12, parts of Peterborough Green Wheel.  We meet a really elderly gentleman (looked much older than us,85-90 was our guess) just outside of Peakirk, still peddling his Specialised Hybrid. He advised us against taking the section of NCN12 to Crowland. I should have listened. Kathleen refused to. continue it was so wet and rough, taking us on. a much longer route via B1443, and then, even more of a diversion to avoid the very busy A16.
