  Sunday, 4th July 2021 8.03 Miles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Wardley - Boldon Colliery. a short outing on the Ecosmo Tandem, first time we have been on it for many months. Nothing much has changed, still raises many a smile from passers-by and dog walkers. Cloudy, but, humid and warm 18C. Monday, 5th July 2021 13.05 Miles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Washington - Boldon Colliery. A quick outing, after a torrential rain storm, trusting the weather forecast, that it was not going to rain again today! Warm 19C. Wednesday, 7th July 2021 2.25 miles. To Pharmacy, to collect prescription, on Folding Chinese Dahon copy. Friday, 9th July 2021 13.01 miles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Washington - Boldon Colliery.  Cloudy but very warm 22C. 

  Sunday, 18th October 2020 3.59 miles. Around Boldon Colliery, on folding bicycle. Cloudy and 14C. The madness of Covid-19, so bored, I am now doing the Cyclechat ABC streets challenge as well as the ABC place names challenge.  Not a bad haul today, got Street Names A..D, in only 3.5 miles! Plus, learned a little bit about the street names in the immediate area I have lived for 30+ years! Monday, 19th October 2020 4.41 Miles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow. On folding bicycle. Dull, with a slight shower, 10C. More street names for the  CycleChat ABC Street Name Challenge , reached "I" today. Tuesday, 20th October 2020 5.5 miles. Boldon Colliery and South Shields. Damp, cloudy with sun, and, surprisingly mild at 16C. On Folding Bicycles, with Kathleen, and, collection more street names (J-N) for the Cyclechat ABC Street Name Challenge . No Video. Followed by a trip to the pub (Prince of Wales) with the "boys), average age 70+  Another 2.35 miles. Wednesday, 21st October 2020

Tuesday 25th August 2020 5.07 miles. South Shields - Boldon Colliery. A very wet and windy ride home from Harton Garage, after dropping car off for a service, on Folding Bicycle. 16C.  5.07 Miles. Boldon Colliery - South Shields. Excuse the map, forgot to turn Garmin off, so, some of the mileage shown is with bike in boot of car! A very wet and windy trip, to collect car from Harton Garage, after servicing. 16C. Good news is, no problems with car.   

Thursday, 20th August 2020 4.74 Miles. Boldon Colliery - Monkton Village - Boldon Colliery. Warm and sunny. To Lord Nelson, for refreshments, on folding bike.    Saturday, 22nd August 2020 6.53 Miles. Boldon Colliery - Cleadon - Boldon Colliery. Very windy, warm 20C. Riding Ecosmo Tandem.

Boldon Colliery - South Shields (Harton). Cycling from home, to Garage to collect car after MOT.  Humid and hot 24C. Friday, 14th August 2020 7.18 Miles. ie 3.59 each way. Boldon Colliery to Whitemare Pool (The Green). Chilly and damp, 14C. 

Thursday, 6th August 2020 8.2 Miles. Boldon Colliery and Cleadon . Solo, morning spin. Dry, sunny and mild 16C. Friday, 7th August 2020. 2.39 miles. To Chemist, to collect prescription. Folding Bicycle.

Tuesday, 30th June 2020 20.15 Miles. Boldon Colliery - Whitburn - South Shields - Jarrow - Boldon Colliery. Cloudy, breezing but mild at 18C. User error, means, no video. 2.49 miles. Boldon Colliery.
