Sunday, 16th April 2023 15.74 miles.    Boldon Colliery - Washington - Follingsby - Boldon Colliery. A variation on our usual Washington Circuit. Mild at 12c, and sunny with cloud. Two vintage 1947 Pensioners. 

  Tuesday 4th April 2023 10.18 Miles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Follingsby - Boldon Colliery.  Sunny and mild 14c. Two vintage 1947 Pensioners, who have not cycled for several weeks, so, a short and gentle ride.

  Sunday 12/03/2023 16.40 miles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Washington Village - Boldon Colliery. Two vintage 1947 pensioners. Mild 11c, sunny with cloud, stiff breeze from the South West. Our first ride for some weeks, and, didn't we know it!

Thursday, 02/02/2023 15.14 miles. Fiskerton (Diamond House CL) - Bardney - Washingborough Station - Diamond House CL.      Cloudy, 10c, with a 10mph wind from the west. Two vintage 1947 Pensioners. Sustrans NCN 1. 

Sunday, 20th November 2022 15.66 miles.  Cycling. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Washington Village - Boldon Colliery. Started damp and grey, but, by coffee stop at Washington Village, blue sky and sunshine. Cold 7c, and, the ground is very wet, after several days of heavy rain. We did a slight variation on our normal route, since, rumour has it that parts of Bowes Railway path flooded and/or damaged by rain, so, we avoided that section. Two vintage 1947 Pensioners.   Monday, 14th November 2022 15.70 miles. Boldon Colliery - Washington Village - Jarrow - Boldon Colliery. Foggy at Boldon, but, Autumn sunshine at Washington Village, where we stopped for coffee,12c and calm. Our "routine" Washington Village circuit, but, cycled clockwise, ie, in opposite direction to usual. Two vintage 1947 Pensioners. AKASO EK7000 Camera.

  Sunday, 6th November 2022 15.88 miles. Boldon Colliery. - Jarrow - Washington Village - Boldon Colliery. A damp, grey autumn morning, chilly at 10C, with a bit of autumn mist. Boldon Colliery - Whitburn - South Shields - Jarrow - Boldon Colliery. Sunny, with cloud, damp, but calm and mild at 12C. Coffee stop at Little Haven. Two vintage 1947 pensioners.
