Sunday, 20th November 2022 15.66 miles.  Cycling. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Washington Village - Boldon Colliery. Started damp and grey, but, by coffee stop at Washington Village, blue sky and sunshine. Cold 7c, and, the ground is very wet, after several days of heavy rain. We did a slight variation on our normal route, since, rumour has it that parts of Bowes Railway path flooded and/or damaged by rain, so, we avoided that section. Two vintage 1947 Pensioners.   Monday, 14th November 2022 15.70 miles. Boldon Colliery - Washington Village - Jarrow - Boldon Colliery. Foggy at Boldon, but, Autumn sunshine at Washington Village, where we stopped for coffee,12c and calm.   Sunday, 6th November 2022 15.88 miles. Boldon Colliery. - Jarrow - Washington Village - Boldon Colliery. A damp, grey autumn morning, chilly at 10C, with a bit of autumn mist. Sunday, 30th October 2022 16.37 miles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Washington Village - Boldon Colliery. Calm, and mild (14C), but, damp and cloudy. Two Vintage 1947 Pensioners. AKASO EK7000 Camera.  No coffee stop today, we are too early, coffee shop closed. Monday, 31st October 2022 12.37 miles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - South Shields - Boldon Colliery. Calm and mild 12C, damp, with some sunshine. Two Vintage 1947 Pensioners. AKASO EK7000 Camera. Not our most scenic route, but, mostly tarmac, which is preferable when the weather has been wet.

  Tuesday 25/10/2022  20.32 miles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Howdon - Newcastle - Jarrow - Boldon Colliery.  A very pleasant autumn morning. Through pedestrian Tunnel, coffee at the Bike Hub, Ouseburn. Some very impressive autumn colours. Two vintage 1947 pensioners. AKASO EK7000 camera.

Tuesday, 18th October 2022 19.93 miles. Boldon Colliery - Whitburn - South Shields - Jarrow - Boldon Colliery.  Typical autumn morning, sunny with cloud, calm, and a cool 11c, rising to 13c. Two vintage 1947 pensioners. AKASO EK7000 camera. Lots of cyclists out, perhaps, grabbing the last mild and sunny day of the year? Saturday, 22nd October 2022 16.52 miles. Boldon Colliery - Jarrow - Washington Village - Boldon Colliery.   A rather damp and dull autumn morning. Stiff wind in our face for the first 7 miles, then, of course, we get to coast with the wind at our back. Slight disruption to our route because they have closed of a section at end of West Pastures, for no apparent reason. Two vintage 1947 pensioners. AKASO EK7000 Camera.
